The AURA System slatted brise-soleil consists of shading elements, composed of aluminum profiles with a small cross section. The slatted brise-soleil can be rectangular, square, trapezoid, arranged horizontally, vertically or diagonally – referring visually to wooden slats.
Currently, ripped brise-soleil is a super trend in architecture. Widely used in the façades of homes, as it combines the great shading effect with a striking aesthetic aspect, which is very popular with architects.
Its functionality can be integrated in fixed frames – such as fixed panels – or mobile, and can be articulated and / or slide. Regardless of the solution, it is necessary to correctly size its dimensions (heights and widths), quantities of fixed and movable elements, type, spacing and positioning of the slatted profiles and finally, the finish of the slatted aluminum profiles, which can also be with wood electrostatic coating in high relief, which gives a realistic aspect and in tune with the purpose of having the visual effect of wooden slats.
SLATTED BRISE-SOLEIL AURA SYSTEM: ALL THE ADVANTAGES OF ALUMINUM WITH WOODEN APPEARANCE
Slatted brise-soleil with AURA System aluminum profiles offer many advantages over the use of wooden slats, namely:
- Aluminum is, together with silicon, the most abundant mineral in the earth’s crust, in addition to being 100% recyclable, making it a highly sustainable raw material;
- The AURA System slatted profile is tubular and highly resistant, making it lighter and more resistant than wood;
- The lightness of the AURA System slatted profile also makes the shading element lighter and easier to move, which can be the AURA 40BM folding door or the AURA System sliding door;
- The wooden slat requires periodic maintenance, whereas the AURA System slatted brise with anodized finish or electrostatic painting, does not require repainting, only periodic cleaning according to the incidence of weather and dust;
- The wooden slat undergoes movement – dilation and retraction – according to the variation of humidity and solar incidence, which can cause defects and dysfunctions as a whole – the AURA System slatted brise-soleil is practically immune to these effects.
