The double glass is composed of two separate glasses with a spacer profile and forms an air layer between them, they are also called insulated glasses and their primary function is thermal protection, since the separation by confined and dehydrated air prevents contact of the external side with the internal side of aluminum window with double glazing.

Following this concept, in the Thermal Break profile, polyamide plays the role of confined air, separating the outside from the inside, so aluminum windows for double glazing using profiles with Thermal Break are ideal.
