TILT & TURN WINDOW

There are several types of aluminum systems or also called aluminum windows. Each type has its characteristics and correctly choosing the type of system for the desired purpose, in combination with the product and ideal glass, will bring satisfaction to the user for an indefinite period of time – once the window is installed, it is complicated and costly its replacement.

The tilt-turn window has a dual function, its leaf can rotate and also tilt, in both cases to the inner side of the room, being suitable for any type of building.

Although not very common in Brazil, the tilt-turn window has wide application in Europe and its use here is growing, as its advantages are being recognized by the national market.

THE TILT-TURN WINDOW AND ITS ADVANTAGES

The tilt-turn window is a typology that offers functionality, acoustic comfort, versatility and in combination with Thermal Break AURA System profiles together with a glass with good photo-energetic performance, it will also provide energy efficiency.

In the turning position, the tilt-turn window offers full opening, for ample ventilation and to clean the glass on the outside – tilting and awning windows can only be cleaned from the outside, which is already a complex operation in places high or without access.

In the tilting position, the tilt-turn window offers ventilation, discreetly and without interfering in the internal space.

As a rule, the double actuation of the tilt-turn window requires a hardware with multi-point perimeter locking of the leaf in the frame, which increases its acoustic and thermal performance.

As this technology is based on the high performance concept developed and tested in Europe for the most adverse climatic conditions, the tilt-turn window has three perimeter gaskets (rubbers) sealing lines of EPDM, providing high thermo-acoustic performance.
