LIFT AND SLIDING DOOR

From a performance point of view, sliding doors are the most sensitive, as their seals are made of nylon brushes positioned on the leaves, which do not have the same efficiency as a rubber seal – however the rubber in contact with the profile generates friction and prevents the sliding leaf from sliding properly.

Therefore, the lifting and sliding door was developed, whose hardware mechanism allows to raise the leaf. With this device, the lift and sliding door leaf may have EPDM or silicone gaskets, that is, rubber – so the leaf in the lowered position gives total sealing between the leaf and the lifting and sliding door frame. With the leaf in its raised position, the lift and sliding door leaf slides without friction, ensuring perfect functionality.

By guaranteeing an excellent seal between leaf and frame, the lift and sliding door can offer high thermal and acoustic performance, especially with Thermal Break AURA System profiles, a composite profile, in which polyamide, which has low thermal conduction and is highly resistant, separates the external face from the internal face of the profile, thus providing a thermal insulation and which also allows the option of two-color profiles.

With this type of hardware, the lifting and sliding door can have three or more locking points, increasing its security and sealing, as well as being able to slide easily, 400 kg leaf weights.

The lift and sliding door is a reference for large spans combined with acoustic and thermal comfort, also suitable for smaller spans, such as lifting and sliding windows.
