In order to pass such a rigorous performance test, without reservations, is required a product that values total quality.
A fundamental element of the Birmann 32 landmark, the AURA 125 FAU facade by TERA METAIS overcame a major challenge: having its performance tested in an internationally recognized laboratory, the CRL (Construction Research Laboratory) in Miami / USA – where it was tested none other than the Petronas Towers facade, among other icons.
The unprecedented success experience for complex facades of Brazilian enterprises was carried out by the AURA System team of TERA Metais and became part of the company’s history. To give you an idea, the test prototype – representing with accuracy a large corner segment of the building’s facade – had three angles of positive and negative inclination, totaling an area of 180m².
What made this test a milestone? In addition to the tests foreseen in NBR 10.821 (air permeability, water tightness, resistance and safety) with a wind pressure of 200 kgf / m², the prototype was subjected to a dynamic pressure test with a propeller plane engine, simulating a real situation. There was also a second step of the tightness test, after the maximum efforts were applied in the strength test.
The result and the certificate, for the satisfaction of the customer, partners and of course, for the joy of our team, prove the excellence of our work.

The new AURA System accredited partner in Porto Alegre, KASPER ESQUADRIAS from Porto Alegre, held an event for architects and builders at FIERGS in Porto Alegre, presenting the audience with the company’s success story and growth plans at this moment of recovery of Brazil’s economic.

At the H + stand ‘solutions for safer clinical and hospital environments’ TERA Metais exhibited – 16/05 to 19/05/2017 at Expo Center Norte – with great names in the construction industry, its windows systems of high thermal and acoustic performance and for large glass thicknesses, in special solutions such as: turn-tilt windows with hidden sash and hardware and removable locks.
The exposed windows are ideal for hospitals and clinics, because in addition to their functionality and practicality, they have fewer gaps and overhangs, but also attract attention, their elegance and sophistication, and are therefore also suitable for hotels, offices and homes.
It took place on the night of April 27, 2017, at the ‘Grupo Foco’ event space in Belo Horizonte and promoted by CRJ ESQUADRIAS with the participation of TERA Metais, the event which had the theme ‘windows systems for high thermal and acoustic performance’ – bringing together architects and specifiers of the first magnitude of this great city.
In January 2017, the board of TERA Metais and AURA System were at BAU in Munich / Germany, with partner suppliers and fabricators, to get to know the new trends of aluminum window and façade systems live – in order to update and expand its portfolio of products and services in Brazil.
Since January 2017, TERA Metais has been associated with AFEAL, which makes us honored to be part of this important and representative association and to be on the same team as the companies that define the evolution and quality of window and facade systems in Brazil.
At Fesqua 2016, the company demonstrated everything that the AURA System frame system offers: thermal comfort, energy efficiency, elegant design and the possibility of applying different finishes and colors in the same frame.
